Integrasi Model Pembelajaran Kolb dengan Minecraft: Kesan Terhadap Pembelajaran Perimeter dan Luas

Abstrak

Kajian dengan reka bentuk kuasi-eksperimen ini adalah bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti keberkesanan Model Pembelajaran Kolb yang diintegrasi Minecraft dalam meningkatkan pencapaian dan pengekalan kemahiran penyelesaian masalah dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran (PdP) Perimeter dan Luas. Sampel kajian terdiri daripada 69 orang murid Tahun 5 dari dua buah kelas sedia ada (intact classes). Melalui pensampelan kluster, kelas yang mengandungi 35 orang murid terpilih sebagai kumpulan kawalan manakala kelas yang mengandungi 34 orang murid terpilih sebagai kumpulan rawatan. Instrumen kajian terdiri daripada ujian pra dan ujian pasca yang dianalisis untuk mengenal pasti pencapaian murid dalam Perimeter dan Luas manakala ujian pasca lanjutan dianalisis untuk mengenal pasti pengekalan kemahiran penyelesaian masalah murid Tahun 5 dalam kumpulan rawatan. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan dalam min markah pencapaian ujian pasca (t(69) = -4.67, p = .00), dengan kumpulan rawatan memperoleh min markah pencapaian yang lebih tinggi berbanding kumpulan kawalan manakala dapatan ujian ANOVA satu hala menunjukkan kemahiran penyelesaian masalah Perimeter dan Luas dapat dikekalkan kesan intervensi. Dapat disimpulkan bahawa penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Kolb yang diintegrasi Minecraft berupaya memberi impak signifikan dalam meningkatkan pencapaian serta mengekalkan kemahiran penyelesaian masalah Perimeter dan Luas dalam kalangan murid.
